Maca benefits
Maca is a nutritional stock of vitamins and minerals, which help stabilize hormone irregularities, improve mental abilities, boosts sexual performance and overall nourish the body.

Ley, Ph.D. states on her Maca book “Some researchers note than when the body is well-nourished and balanced (in homeostasis), overall health improves, libido rises and depression abates.” A recent scientific analysis states that Maca is actually a nutritional stock of vitamins and minerals, which help stabilize hormone irregularities, improve mental abilities, boosts sexual performance and overall nourish the body.
In clinical trials it was also shown that Maca has positive effects on energy, mood and may decrease anxiety. Maca has also been shown to improve sperm production. Traditionally, practitioners and herbalists have recommended Maca for:
- Hormonal regulation (stimulating and regulating the endocrine system)
- Menopause treatments (Maca acts as a hormonal regulator that it is why it eases your symptoms during pre, menopause, and post-menopause. It treats hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and it acts as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy. It also regulates and normalizes menstrual cycles
